Located in Flowood and serving the greater Jackson area, HineSight Vision Care provides eye care services. Our entire optometry team is dedicated to providing advanced vision care in a safe and comfortable environment. Primary services in our office include a complete eye exam to analyze eye health and vision function. Our team also provides testing for specific eye health issues, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension. We also offer glasses and contact lenses, as well as pre- and post-operative care for LASIK surgery.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Comprehensive eye exams are always the first stop in eye care, and we recommend receiving one every year to ensure your eyes are as healthy as possible. Dr. Hines and our team take routine eye exams seriously, and each consists of a patient history review, vision and eye tests, assessments of focus and eye movement, and an overall eye health evaluation. If necessary, our optometrist will then discuss and recommend any additional testing.
Contact lenses have long since been a wonderful alternative to glasses, and our Jackson office offers many different types, both hard and soft, including rigid gas permeable (RGP), daily wear, extended wear, and toric lenses. If you're looking to make the switch to contacts, our optometrist will discuss these options with you to determine which type will best fit your needs and lifestyle.
LASIK is a corrective surgery alternative to glasses and contacts. It corrects conditions like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. While our eye doctors don't perform LASIK operations in our office, we do provide everything you need for pre- and post-operative eye care, including a full consultation, referrals, and follow-up appointments. LASIK may not be the right choice for everyone, but it has great advantages for people who play sports, have allergies, or are looking for greater simplicity in their daily eye care routines.
Since we strive to provide the best eye care possible, we don't stop at glasses and contacts. We also help our patients with things like hard-to-fit contacts. Dr. Hines specializes in hard-to-fit contacts. Consider a consultation with us if you've been told in the past that you can't wear contacts.
If you spend extended time looking at screens, you may experience blurry vision, eye strain, discomfort, and headaches. These are signs of Computer Vision Syndrome, and we can help with these symptoms as well. Additionally, our team addresses any questions related to sports vision, prescription sunglasses, and specialty lenses.
If you have any questions about your vision or eye health, don't hesitate to call our office or request an appointment. Our number is 601-519-4466. We serve all of the greater Jackson area, and we are here to help with any and all vision needs.
