Dr. Nettie Hines, OD

Dr. Nettie Hines, OD.

A native of Yazoo City and a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School, Dr. Nettie Hines loves providing outstanding ocular care to her community. She realized her passion for Visual Optics while completing her studies in Physics at the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Hines received her doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Over the last couple of years, she has created a unique practice utilizing the most innovative designs of contact lenses.

A national lecturer and an active member of the contact lens industry, Dr. Hines is committed to correcting your vision and protecting your eyes, no matter what. Dr. Hines is an optometrist in Flowood, MS. providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Hines provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Hines is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology.

With this background, Dr. Hines is trained to recognize and treat a range of health issues; such as keratoconus, dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension.

​​​​​​​Dr. Hines works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Hines's dedication to continuing education that our Flowood patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.

Dr. Cubdeerix Robinson, OD

Raised in Yazoo City, MS, Dr. Robinson finished high school at Yazoo City High before attending the University of Mississippi. While there, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences earning Cum Laude honors.

She moved to Memphis, TN to further her education at the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) from which she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry. While at SCO, Dr. Robinson was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor society and was a recipient of the basic science award. She was also active in NOSA (National Optometric Student Association) which is a club dedicated to increasing minority representation in optometry.

Dr. Robinson continued her training by completing a residency in Ocular Disease at the Memphis VA Medical Center. She is able to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions and perform comprehensive eye exams. She strives to provide the best care possible to all of her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys doing DIY projects, bowling and spending time with family
